Your drum machine or sequencer sets the tempo, and every Link app on your iPad follows.
Use ClockBridge on its own: connect your hardware over USB or Bluetooth MIDI, open the app and press play on the hardware. It keeps following in the background while you play in other apps. Or load it in AUM as a MIDI processor. AUM can send MIDI clock, but it can't follow one, and ClockBridge closes that gap.
It's one button. The ring tells you what's happening: grey while it waits for clock, yellow once it has locked on, red if the clock goes away. Pull the cable mid-song and the tempo holds and the music keeps going.
• Works on its own, or as an AUv3 plugin in AUM
• Follows tempo changes as you turn the knob
• Starts your apps on the hardware's downbeat instead of at the next bar
• Steady timing even when the host delivers clock in audio-buffer steps
• Timing offset in milliseconds, to line up with your hardware's latency
• Pairs Bluetooth MIDI devices from its settings
• Light enough to leave running in every session
ClockBridge uses Ableton Link, so the tempo is shared with every Link-enabled app on your iPad and your local network.
